Here are a few photos of my hike up Lynn Peak…
It’s really a nice trail, not too challenging, not too boring. :)

From various points on the trail you got great vies of the Greater Vancouver Area and the North Shore Mountains.

Today I spotted something which totally reminded me of a TV-Series,
I used to watch when I was a child.
I think you have to be at least 20 to know it. :-)
It was/ is called The wonderful adventure of Nils Holgersson.

The Baden Powell trail is very extensive, beginning in Deep Cove the trail follows the North Shore mountains to Horseshoe Bay.

I only hiked a short section, from Grouse Mtn. Cable Car until the height of Skyline Dr., but it was really amazing!
The nature is beautiful — you pass a lot of small creeks — and the trail is not very hard to hike.

… picked up some really spicy slang here in Vancouver — Actually my teacher told me.
Kind ‘a embarrassing, isn’t it? :)
However, I shortlisted some of the most delicate for you…
muffin top when a girl (or guy) has jeans that are way too tight, causing their belly or sides to hang over like a muffin…
She was cute, but that chunky girl had a hell of a muffin-top poppin’ out!
whale tail the top back part of a g-string that’s visible over a girl’s low-cut hip-hugging jeans
Damn, did you see that whale tail on the back of that chick?
tits-up dead
My workstation is always tits-up when I come back from lunch.

If you want to see more, just read on…

If some Canadian guy finds that some word/ description is “wrong”, don’t be shy, please tell me.
I just listed what I was told and heard on the streets…

Warning — only go an reading if you’re bored and want to do some time!!!

So, here’s a very challenging question for you!
What do you think is inside this package?

I just had a second look at my photo, and I can only laugh about myself…
Got no idea how I finished school, but I did! *g*

Anyways, if you take a really close look,
you can see what’s inside on first sight…

However, it’s no really challenging quest at all I guess, no matter if they printed Chocolate on the package or not…
Oh man, I’m so sorry for stealing your time…

Read on, if you want to know what’s inside this mysterious bag…

aka John Hendry Park

The Park offers lots of green-space and a small lake/ pond for the water-rats beyond you… — Can I say water-rats in english? –
I also spotted two Baseball fields and a football field, one basketball court, and that’s it I guess…

Moreover you got a great view at the North-Shore Mountains!

I enjoy doing my rounds round the lake there like a maniac…
–don’t ask me how many I spooled down by now,
but I’m sure it are way too much –
8)
However I’m not the only one who does it, so I think it’s okay ;)

A useful hint in the end -
if you want to go there for jogging on a sunny sunday or saturday, be prepared to sense an immense urge for meat, as there will be many BBQ’s held!
However, real athletics won’t become desperate because of a little BBQ-Smell in the air round them, right? :)

With my 21 years, I went to the first Rodeo of my life today…
– I’m from Austria so you have to apologize this –
However I have to say that it was really nice!

They know how to entertain the whole family there…

Spongebob for the Kids…

Austrian Swarovski-Crystals for Mom…

Unfortunately I have to disappoint you,
it seems really obvious that these are no real Swarovski-Crystals…
Interested in real Swarovski-Crystals? Then have a look here.

And other Stuff for Daddy…

Ah…
don’t let me forget the most important thing,
of course you also got the stuff with horses and bulls… ;)

Unfortunately I have no pictures of the bulls…
However a friend got some nice shots, so I hope I can get them!

Today (17 May 2008 ) Vancouver was literally on fire!
Fueled by temperatures of about 30°C and countless BBQs’ held
simply everywhere…

Consequently I felt the growing urge to eat at least a tiny little steak, burger or sausage.

And I think I wasn’t the only one who suffered today,
walking the street always having a hint of BBQ in the air,
and you can’t sink your teeth into a juicy piece of meet…

That sucks!

However…

Sure you're right in liking meat
